For Investors

The investment advice we give at Princeton Value Advisors is based on the Value Investing method (See Our Better Investment Method) page. This is a method recognized as helping reduce risk and very helpful for getting superior investment results. I also have exceptional qualifications (see panel to the left).

I am extremely proud of my outstanding long term investment success record. For example, since 2000 my IRAs, after deducting contributions, are up 260% while the market is down 10%. See the Stock Results 2000 - present page for details.

I am not only good at selecting individual stocks but also have a record of successfully knowing when an asset classes should be avoided. For example, since 1998 I have been telling everyone that the broad stock market's price was much higher than its value and to pull money from stock funds and put it in bond funds. I was right. In the last 10 years the stock market and virtually all stock funds performed as badly as in the depression years of the 1930s while bond funds produced a good return.

We can create the portfolio that best meets your individual investment by combining Value Investing fundamentals with a with a proven, systematic process for selecting the mix of investments that best fits your goals and priorities (See the "Selecting Your Investments" page).

I will take the time to explain the options available to you and their pros and cons. That way you can be confident that your investment strategy is in fact right for you, your goals, and your priorities. I will also review your strategy regularly to make sure it continues to be right for you. As your situation or financial market's risks and oportunities change so will your strategy.

Tailoring your portfolio to your goals and priorities

  • Many people have responded to instability of the financial markets by deciding that they want a portfolio that has minimum risks. We can create such a portfolio if that is what is appropriate for you
  • Other people are willing to take risks with at least part of their savings as long as it has a substantial chance of producing a return that is appropriate for the risks taken. Our long term investment success, even in periods when the market is down, shows that we can create a portfolio that achieves this goal also.
  • Finally, your might be a new investor not quite sure what the risks or opportunities are. We will sit with you and explain the options you have and their pros and cons. Because we are fee only advisors the advice we give will be unbiased.
